Pink Lady launches PinKids mini apple

Pink Lady has teamed up with Disney in a three-year deal to promote small apples to kids.

The new PinKids range has the same taste and texture as its big sister and will be launched in January 2012.

The brand has designed an artistic theme to appeal to children aged between four and eight and asked children to fill out a survey to select a mascot for the PinKids range.

Pink Lady said it takes 200 days of tender loving care to produce a perfect apple.

They say the time on the tree helps develop their pink blush, sweet flavour and crisp texture.
