Peter Fry joins Norman Collett

Peter Fry, who retired from Tesco a fortnight ago after 22 years, has joined Norman Collett Ltd, the UK top-fruit marketing group, in a consultancy role.

Highly regarded in the fresh produce industry, Fry was Tesco’s produce trading director from 1995-2003, and subsequently spent 18 months in Japan working on business development. For the past two years, he has been produce quality director at Tesco.

Norman Collett managing director Andy Sadler said: “With [Fry’s] vast experience, he will add an extra dimension in helping to develop our business relationships.”
