East Malling Research and English Apples and Pears Ltd are to discuss how to get the best profits from British pear production at a conference next month.
The one day event is being held at the East Malling Conference Centre on 27 February.
The range of topics being discussed include the UK pear industry and market and growers experiences, the ergonomics of pear production and agronomy.
There will also be a session on the East Malling Concept Pear Orchard.
A more detailed programme is to follow shortly.
Registration for the event will begin at 10am with the programme beginning at 10.30am.
The registration fee of £10 for Members of the East Malling Research Association and £20 for non-members includes lunch and refreshments.
