North American exporter Ontario International has expressed great sadness this week at the passing of company founder and president Paul Genecco, who died on 26 January aged 46 following a long battle with brain cancer.

He leaves a wife and three children. SuAnn Genecco assumed the presidency of the Ontario business several months ago.

A graduate of George Washington University, Genecco founded Ontario International in 1990, and quickly established it as one of the leading exporters of fresh produce from the US and Canada.

“Paul was first and foremost a great friend, but also a very astute businessman,” said his colleague Paul Redgate. “Dealings were always conducted with great integrity and he was driven by the desire to supply quality produce.”

FPJ’s condolences to his family and friends.
