Syngenta Crop Protection UK has announced that parsnip growers will not be able to use its Amistar product on their crops until UK and EU maximum residue limits (MRL) for carrots and parsnips are aligned. UK regulations on the new EU MRL will come into effect on September 1, too late for this year's parsnip crop.
