A legal challenge to the decision to revoke paraquat has been unsuccessful.
Following the instant revocation of paraquat in July Syngenta’s lawyers challenged the move by PSD and the revocation was revoked while legal clarification was sought.
The position has been confirmed and the revocation has been reissued. The final use up date remains the same, July 11 2008 unless a further decision is taken by the Commission.
