Tray sealing and filling equipment specialist Packaging Automation Ltd has reorganised its sales team after several new appointments and internal promotions.
Jonathan Mildred - formerly of flexible packaging specialists FFP - has been appointed to manage sales in the south of the UK, and Andy Beeley was recently hired to develop PA’s customers in the north and Ireland.
John Dumbell has been promoted to product manager for the tray sealing product group and Mark Leaning will take on the same role for the pot sealing and filling product group.
To further facilitate the growth of PA’s machine hire services, the company has promoted Rebecca Chung from internal sales to the position of technical sales, focusing on hire equipment.
Neil Ashton, who will remain as PA’s sales manager said: “Jonathan's appointment gave us the opportunity to look at the key strengths of our existing sales team and consider how we could utilise these skills to the utmost advantage. We now have strong product managers for both the tray sealing and pot filling and sealing sides of the business, combined with experienced sales engineers covering the UK and we anticipate continued strong growth in both these areas.
"The hire side of the business has also expanded and Becci's appointment shows our commitment to further developing this important facility. Through our hire program new customers can try out tray sealing equipment without great financial commitment - which is particularly useful for new product launches or where there is demand to get product to shelf very quickly. Becci has been with the company for five years and we're confident she has the skills and experience to make a valuable contribution in her new role."
The company said it was confident that the restructuring would further strengthen its position as the leading UK manufacturer of tray sealing an d filling equipment.
