The Packaging Automation team is delighted to have acquired IIP again

Packaging Automation has gained the Investors In People (IIP) award for the second time in three years for its continued commitment to its staff.

Every company who receives IIP recognition is reassessed after three years. Following a thorough assessment where 23 of its 107 workforce were interviewed the company retained the status.

Key strengths identified included an increased focus on continuous improvement in quality, the creation of 13 working parties to focus on a range of business issues and the furthering of leadership developments through outward-bound style events.

Paul Deaville, the IIP assessor, said: “The company has undergone a period of expansion and the impression gathered during the review was that it had developed positively, allowing greater devolvement of management responsibility.”

Packaging Automation's commercial manager Samantha Ashton said: “Retaining our IIP status shows our commitment to developing employees. Individuals are helped to develop their potential, improve skills and have greater job satisfaction. This allows us to be more competitive, increase productivity and foster a workforce that is motivated and loyal, which ultimately provides better standards of service and care.
