A specialist vehicle supplier is celebrating after landing a major contract with citrus-giants Outspan fresh.
TCS, the refrigerated vehicle rental and contract hire company, will be helping Outspan to distribute fresh oranges and juicers to their network of customers.
The company’s Volkswagen LT 35’s have been converted by RVL to a chill specification with slab side doors; strong enough to cope with the multi-drop punishment doled out by this type of operation.
Apart from Outspan oranges, the vehicles will be used to deliver its juicing machines too. These include the latest counter top machine, the Minex mini-juicer. The specifically designed squeezing mechanism ensures only the pulp of the orange is squeezed, producing a clean peel-free drink with excellent yield.
Jackie Venn, Managing Director of Outspan fresh, said: “When we rolled out our delivery network, it was essential to use a reliable and customer focused supplier, to match our high expectations. TCS met all our objectives.”
Paul Tuszynski, Director of TCS, said: “We are always happy to work with our customers to have vehicles designed for their distribution operations, small or large. We are not tied to any particular manufacturer and with our experience spanning some 20 years we are able to find solutions from deep freeze to keep hot.”
