National Farmers Union (NFU) bosses are lending their weight to a key debate on organic farming.
Vice President Michael Paske will sit on a panel at the Soil Association's The Future of Agriculture conference on January 25.
He will face questions from the audience about the future of the sector.
Other members of the panel include leading lights such as German nature conservation agency president Professor Hartmut Vogtmann, Soil Association director Patrick Holden and National Trust director general Fiona Reynolds.
UK TV celebrity Jonathan Dimbleby will chair the panel.
Looking forward to the showcase, Paske said: 'I hope this conference will provide a forum for useful debate on the future of organic farming.
'The NFU is committed to helping farmers invest in organic and will ensure organic issues are given more prominence within the organisation.'
