The Soil Association has announced the dates for the next Organic Fortnight, which aims to persuade consumers of the benefits of organics.

Organic Fortnight, organised by the Soil Association, is due to take place this year on 3-17 September to celebrate all things organic.

The aim is to persuade consumers to switch to organics during the fortnight in order to discover "why there are no hidden costs - organic means better for you and our soil, happy animals, flourishing wildlife and a healthier planet", according to the Soil Association.

The highlight of the fortnight, the Organic Food Festival, will take place on 11-12 September at Bristol Harbourside, with hundreds of stalls selling organic food and drink.
