The Soil Association’s fourth annual trade conference takes place on April 4 and 5 at Olympia, during the Natural Products/Organic Products Europe trade show.
The winners of the Organic Industry Awards, including Organic Supermarket of the Year and Organic Business Person of the Year, will also be announced over the weekend at a presentation dinner in the National Hall, Olympia.
The conference in The London Room, Grand Hall will consist of six informal discussion sessions looking at different aspects of achieving success in the organic market place, such as how consumers are motivated to buy organic products and pricing strategies. Key speakers will include:
• David Croft, head of brand, Co-operative Retail Group
• Lorraine Brehme, co-founder and director, Clipper Teas
• Renee Elliott, founder, Planet Organic
• Andrew Telford, senior brand manager, Go Organic
Dom Lane, the Soil Association’s event manager, said: "We have brought together some of the leading names from successful organic brands to share their expertise. This will be a truly interactive event where delegates can get up close and personal to speakers and we hope they will gain a lot by taking part."
Entry to the conference and Natural Products/Organic Products Europe trade show is free if you register in advance at www.organicproducts.co.uk. Entry on the day is £20. The show is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on both days.
