Online grocer Ocado has announced it is making a public share offering and intends to list on the London Stock Exchange.
In a statement, the loss-making group said shares will be offered to institutional investors in the UK and elsewhere, to all employees and officers of Ocado and to customers who have spent more than £300 with Ocado between 1 January 2010 and June 24.
The retailer has specialised in offering Waitrose own-label products as well as a further 15,000 branded lines and a small offer of Ocado own-label.
