Northern Ireland may not get as much press as other horticulture- producing regions of the UK, but right now there can be few other areas as well-positioned for the future.

While much of the rest of the UK struggles for water, Northern Ireland has it in abundance. It also has a rich agricultural history and by combining this sense of tradition with modern production and marketing techniques, it is bringing a range of innovative and branded products with a clear point of difference to market.

All of this and much more will be discussed at the upcoming FPJ conference in Belfast on 8 March, where speakers from Tesco, DARD, NIIRTA, NFU, Mash Direct, Gilfresh, Wilson’s Country, P McCann & Sons and others will talk about the issues of the day. Two interactive debates will also give delegates the opportunity to have their say.

It’s an unmissable opportunity to network with key figures from the Northern Irish fresh produce industry and hear more about the modern supply chain in this vibrant and fascinating region.
