No change in Zeraim ownership, to date

Israeli seed company Zeraim Gedera sent a message to its customers, suppliers and business partners worldwide as two potential buyers go to court over a share issue.

"As a result of a dispute between two potential buyers - an Israeli fund called Markstone and European Sakata Holdings - the issue has been brought to court, and an announcement should be made soon as to when the hearing will take place, Zeraim Gedera said in a statement. "To date, there has been no change in Zeraim Gedera ownership."

The Israeli seed company, which has established itself as one of the country's leading hybrid seed breeder, further stated that the company hopes that this process will be settled quickly. "We remain fully committed to the agreements with all customers, suppliers, and business partners and will continue serving farmers worldwide with the best varieties and professional service," the statement concluded.
