First of all I’d like to say a huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists at the Re:fresh Awards this week.

From new packaging formats and innovative ways of working to supply chain and in-store developments that have taken the sourcing and retailing of fresh produce to the next level, there’s been much to admire. On another note, we’re saying a fond farewell this week to Liz O’Keefe, who is moving on to an excellent new position as a senior cookery editor across Eat In and other consumer magazines.

Liz has worked tirelessly for FPJ over the past five years, working with dedication, flair and imagination, and I know she will be missed as much by the many industry contacts she made over the years as she will be in the office. We certainly wish her well.

I’m pleased to say that we will shortly be able to announce two new appointments to our editorial staff, who I’m sure will bring similar enthusiasm to FPJ.

I look forward to introducing them to the industry and continuing to work closely with you to bring you more of the news and features that you want to see.
