Growers can receive the latest updates and research on key pests thanks to a new series of one-day training workshops from NIAB-EMR.
Beginning this December, the three new courses will cover management of Spotted Wing Drosophila (SWD), pear sucker and pheromone traps.
They have been designed in response to industry feedback, according to NIAB-EMR, as individual companies have begun asking for bespoke training days on these key pests.
Now, growers can benefit from the very latest research and control methods, collated by NIAB-EMR and its international partners.
Promoted under the Artis Lifelong Learning brand, the training consists of classroom learning and field walks over one day, led by an EMR researcher. They cost £200 plus VAT, with the exception of the pheromone traps course at half price for half a day.
