Sun World has issued stonefruit licences to three California grower-packers who will soon be able to grow and market new peach, plum, nectarine and apricot varieties developed by Sun World International. Wawona Packing, Enns Packing WesPak and Sunwest Fruit Co become part of a 14-strong group of licensed stonefruit marketers in Chile, Australia, New Zealand, the US, South Africa and Italy and are able now to grow and market designated quantities of the Sun World portfolio. These include lines such as Black Diamond and Black Giant plums, Honeycot apricots and Amber Crest peaches.
