Wholesale business aims to provide full service to retail and foodservice outlets
New Covent Garden wholesaler S Thorogood & Sons has moved into direct retail supply with the launch of a new venture.
Thorogood said it aims to bridge the gap between retailers and top-quality market produce by providing easy access to the same fresh, seasonal, and sustainably sourced items that have earned the business its reputation.
The company aims to offer everything from the freshest seasonal fruit and vegetables to a wide selection of wild and cultivated mushrooms, provided by Mushroom Man, which is part of the Thorogood Group and is the market’s only dedicated mushroom specialist.
“At Thorogood’s, we’ve always been passionate about connecting people with the best that nature has to offer,” said director William Thorogood. “We’re excited to bring our expertise and commitment to quality directly to foodservice and retail outlets, making it easier than ever to enjoy the freshest produce available.”
The launch comes shortly after Thorogood celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Nine Elms site.
