The Freight Transport Association has appointed three new managers to join its policy teams in the North, the South East and in Brussels.

Deborah Evans will take up the Leeds-based post of regional policy manager- north; Gordon Telling will become FTA’s head of policy in London, the South East and East, and Chris Yarsley has been appointed the association’s new EU affairs manager in Brussels

The association says the three new managers will enhance its policy team, which currently stands as the largest of any UK trade organisation.

FTA Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy James Hookham said: “I am delighted that FTA has been able to secure the services of three such highly experienced policy managers of proven skills and expertise. Each of these appointments is in a key area of FTA policy activity and will ensure the continuous provision of high quality representation for members of the Association.”
