The Greenery UK has appointed a new technical manager to handle its business with Sainsbury’s.
Richard Binks, 39, will manage and develop The Greenery's relationship with the supermarket chain by working closely with the commercial manager. He will also encourage innovation and deliver "first to market" developments for the benefit of the consumer.
"I am thrilled to join The Greenery and to take responsibility for its relationship with such an important retailer,” said Binks. “I aim to ensure Sainsbury's receives a high class service that reflects its own customer service standards."
Martin Brown, managing director of Greenery UK, said: "Technical innovation with both our growers and customers is essential to growing our business. We are pleased to welcome Richard to The Greenery where he will be a vital member of our team in helping us achieve this."
The Greenery supplies produce to almost all of the major UK supermarkets and, with more than 2,500 employees around the world.
