The Fresca Group has announced that its speciality vegetable subsidiary Jack Buck Growers is being renamed DGM Growers Ltd.
Fresca acquired the Holbeach grower-marketeer of lines such as chicory, celeriac, pak choi, Jerusalem artichoke, peas and beans in 2007, but because it was purchased from within another firm that continues to trade as Jack Buck Farms, Fresca is keen to give the business a new identity.
“This change is timely given the exciting opportunities at DGM Growers,” said a spokeswoman.
“The team has been busy building a field vegetable growing side to the business, and the new high-care facility is ready to begin its prepared vegetable work having passed its required pre-launch audits.”
The team at DGM Growers remains the same, the spokeswoman added.
