Fruit importer Vidafresh has named Scott Davies as new managing director with Terry Watts staying on as CEO.
Davies, who will take over from 3 April, has been in the role of commercial director since the company was established in 2010.
Watts said: “While I will remain as CEO and continue to be fully involved in the operations of the company, I am delighted that Scott has agreed to accept the position of managing director.
“He has been in the industry for over 20 years and has a wealth of leadership, marketing, operational and management experience and is therefore the perfect person to help take the company forward as we continue to expand and develop.
“Scott, together with fellow business partner Chris Rawlins, has been an integral part of the amazing growth and success of the company and has the full support of the whole team in his new role.”
Davies said: “It gives me enormous pleasure to be entrusted to lead the continuing growth and evolution of such a great company as Vidafresh. I fully intend to further shape and develop this business to map out many more years of success in what is an incredibly challenging industry.”
