New features for Royal Show

Organisers of this year’s Royal Show are promising a number of new features and highlights for the July 1-4 event.

The show, which is now back in the hands of the Royal Agricultural Society of England, is a showcase for all aspects of food, farming and rural life.

This year’s new features include ‘Profitable futures’, six interlinked areas designed to show farmers and growers potential diversification opportunities, such as non-food crops, renewable energy, rural enterprisie and profitability in the food chain.

Event conferences will include biofuels, sustainability and energy generating opportunities, and public sector food procurement.
