New commercial director at Thanet Earth

Meat industry veteran Tamara Redding has joined glasshouse giant Thanet Earth as commercial director.

Redding has most recently worked as sales director at poultry supplier Bernard Matthews, and has a 17-year career across the food industry, including roles at food manufacturer Samworth Brothers and 2 Sisters Group.

She replaces current commercial director Richard Diplock, who has led the commercial team for seven years, and who will continue to support the business and oversee a handover period to Redding, a statement said.

In an internal announcement, Thanet Earth MD Des Kingsley said: “With a degree in marketing and a reputation for professionalism, resilience and the building of strong customer relationships, Tamara will ensure our commercial function continues to be a real business driver of our profitable growth strategy.”
