Fresh produce giant Mack has made several key new appointments.

Paul Frowde will be rejoining the business on January 13 as business unit director, with responsibility for stonefuit and grapes.

His return to Mack coincides with the departure of Janina Dowding, who will stay with the firm to allow for a smooth transition until she leaves.

Director Nigel Trood, said: “Paul is a poplar, well-respected character in the industry with considerable experience and a successful track record. He’ll be a great asset to our business, and I’m very pleased indeed to welcome him back.”

After beginning his career with Mack in 1997, Frowde has spent the last five years working at Thanet Earth Marketing UK.

Meanwhile, Shaun Newman is poised to join Mack from IPL as a grape procurement specialist, Kenny Moran returns to the business from Berry Gardens as a berry buyer, and Rowena Ganguli has joined Mack from Innocent Drinks as an account manager.
