Danish discounter Netto has launched a new initiative to give new and existing trade suppliers the opportunity to move quickly through the company’s 196 UK stores.
Open Buying Day will take place every Wednesday from 9am to 4pm at the discounter’s store support centre in South Elmsall, Yorkshire to increase the amount of product that Netto can take on at short notice.
Bent Holm, trading director for Netto in the UK, said: “Quick decision-making is paramount to the continued success of both Netto and our trade suppliers. We want to hear from suppliers on a weekly basis and offer our shoppers the best deals on products.”
Trade suppliers interested in attending a Netto Open Buying Day are invited to sign in at Netto reception under the name of the buyer they wish to see. The buyer will then hold a one-to-one meeting with the supplier.
