The fresh produce supplier inks deal to distribute purple-sprouting broccoli brand to UK foodservice customers
UK fresh produce supplier Nationwide Produce has inked a deal with fruit and veg marketer Coregeo to distribute the broccoli brand Tenderstem Purple to its UK foodservice customers.
Nationwide described the ”strategic partnership” as “a vote of confidence” from Coregeo, which handles several fresh produce brands in the UK, including Tenderstem and Pink Lady.
Tenderstem Purple will be packed in co-branded Nationwide Produce Tenderstem 10 x 200g boxes, the supplier revealed.
A Tenderstem spokesperson said: “We are so pleased that Nationwide Produce has grasped the opportunity to deliver what we believe is ‘Purple Sprouting Broccoli, But Better’ to the foodservice sector.
”We truly value this channel as it enables consumers to try something new, precisely at the moment when they are seeking something delicious and different.”
