The new Musgrave value range

The new Musgrave value range

Musgrave is introducing a new value range to its Budgens and Londis stores.

Phil Smith, managing director of Musgrave Retail Partners GB, is hoping that the step will help strengthen the group’s reputation for value, as well as help shoppers in tough economic times. He said: “We will continue to put our retail partners at the heart of everything that we do. Developing our retail brands and strengthening our reputation for value is just another way of demonstrating this. These new Good Value products respond to consumer needs in the current economic climate, offering both good quality and value for money.”

Initially, Good Value will feature a core range of 18 fresh lines for Budgens and 12 fresh lines for Londis. These are being introduced this month and are all pre-packs. The sub-brand will be highly visible across the store, but the first fresh produce lines are apples and tomatoes. These will be followed by around 30 impulse and staple products in different departments, including fresh produce.
