Potato supplier Greenvale AP, part of Produce Investments plc, has recruited Humber VHB’s Leon Mundey to the new post of head of marketing for its UK fresh potato business.
Greenvale AP said the creation of the post demonstrates its commitment to driving greater understanding of consumers and customers.
Mundey’s past experience also includes marketing roles with Cadbury's, Adams Confectionery and Britvic.
“I am delighted to be joining a forward thinking company like Greenvale that is determined to focus much more on consumers and the fresh potato category in general,” said Mundey. “I believe that my experience will accelerate progress down this path. I look forward to working with Greenvale’s trade customers to bring new opportunities and excitement to the fresh potato category.”

Mundey will join Greenvale early next month.
