Morrisons' senior trading director Martyn Jones is to speak at IGD's Supply Chain Summit, to be held in London on November 9.
He will outline the key developments that have taken place across the company's supply chain and trading, and highlight key priorities for suppliers in 2007.
Jones has been at Morrisons since 1990 and has responsibility for in-store pharmacy, grocery and BWS, as well as running the supply chain.
Morrisons’ participation strengthens a line-up that already included director-level speakers from Tesco, Carrefour, Somerfield, Nestlé and P&G.
The event will cover a range of key supply chain issues, including the potential for greater collaboration, lessons that can be learnt from other sectors and the challenges posed to supply chains by emerging markets such as India and China.
