A number of fresh produce items also feature in latest round of promotions
Seasonal favourites such as asparagus and Jersey Royals are among a series of offers and promotions as Morrisons launches its latest price drive.
The supermarket announced this week that it has lowered the price of over 400 popular food and household cleaning items, which will have their prices locked for at least eight weeks.
The latest round of price cuts will “continue to help customers make their money go further as they gear up for the busy summer months ahead”, Morrisons said. The price cuts include 400g of Chip Shop mushy peas, 8p off at 47p.
Additionally, Morrisons announced that its promotions this week include a two-for-£3 offer on a range of fresh produce such as The Best asparagus, while a 450g bag of The Best Jersey Royal potatoes is going for just £1.
Darren Blackhurst, chief customer and marketing officer at Morrisons, said: “We know that the cost of grocery shopping is as important as ever for our customers and we remain committed to lowering prices without any compromise on quality. Today’s price cuts include ingredients for popular meals as well as household staples which will help customers spread their budgets as they start to think about the busy summer months ahead.”
