Morrisons makes renewed salad recall

Morrisons has recalled four of its own-brand, pre-packed salads because routine testing by a supplier found that they may contain salmonella. The Food Standards Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

Products with a use-by date of June 14 that are affected are Morrisons Bistro Style Salad twin pack 2 x 110g and Morrisons Bistro Style Salad 185g.

Products purchased on or before June 12 that are affected are Morrisons Cheddar Tomato and Egg Layered Salad and Morrisons Layered Garden Salad.

No other Morrisons products are known to be affected.

Morrisons has removed the affected products from sale and displayed point-of-sale notices in all of its stores. The notice tells customers why the products have been recalled and the actions they should take if they have already purchased any of the affected products.
