Morrisons has extended its Fresh In concept for new season UK produce to English apples to coincide with the launch of the new season this month.
“We have been using Fresh In since the start of the Jersey Royal season in the spring,” said a spokesman. “What we are trying to get across is when a season starts for a particular product in the fresh produce aisles as we know our customers like help with this. It has been successful across a number of lines including UK plums and strawberries this summer.”
