MorePeople has announced the acquisition of The Peepul Bureau, an established horticultural recruitment specialist that focuses on the garden centre, landscaping and ornamental sectors.
The coming together of the two companies means that the HuntMore group of companies are now equipped to offer a comprehensive range of recruitment and people solutions services to all sectors of the horticultural industry.
MorePeople directors Guy Moreton and Peter Hunt, who have more than 20 years experience in the horticulture industry, are looking forward to the future. Moreton said: "We see the acquisition of the Peepul Bureau as another piece towards completing the MorePeople jigsaw. As our two businesses to date have tended to compliment, rather than compete with each other, we have developed a friendly association with Carole Holland of the Bureau, when she felt it was the right time to retire she chose MorePeople as her preferred option to pass the business onto.
"It has always been our aim to build a comprehensive 'people solutions' business. We have extended our core recruitment to cover interim managers and non-executive directors. Also, we have launched our training business - MorePerformance, which enables us to offer clients access to manage development programmes. To compliment this in-house training service we have designed a 12-month young manager development programme and the first of these began on November 5."
The Peepul Bureau will transfer to MorePeople's offices in Stamford, Lincs, and to provide a continuity of service Holland will stay with the business in a consultative capacity for the next year.
