Kids at Balsall Common Primary School find out about Juicy Science

Shadow minister for health and children, Tim Loughton, has expressed his support for Sundowner® apples’ Juicy Science campaign, which aims to encourage an interest in science and healthy eating for children of primary school age.

The East Worthing and Shoreham Conservative MP said: “To promote healthy eating amongst young people it needs to be done in a innovative and fun way and your approach using experiments such as electric apples certainly seems to achieve that. It is also very important to involve the project in the home as well as the school environment.”

Juicy Science sponsor Sundowner® apples responded. “We’ve worked really hard with Warwick University and The Science Museum to make this campaign a success,” said managing director, Andy Macdonald. “Healthy eating and childhood obesity are such important subjects, it’s great to have added support from someone truly influential.”
