Mercury Packaging - one of the UK’s food packaging manufacturers - has announced the appointment of Mark Binks as sales manager in a bid for further growth.
Binks will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across all divisions including food packaging, but mainly focusing on the company’s popular ‘Safe & Secure’ series of high strength, tamper evident bags and pouches. He will also be involved in new product innovation and design.
Prior to joining Mercury, Binks was sales manager at De-Met Technology and also worked for 12 years in the Britton Group where he held a number of key positions including sales office manager and most recently, commercial manager.
Employing over 50 people, Mercury is an independent company working to stringent quality protocols with many of its products carrying technical accreditations. It was established in 1999 and has a current turnover of £5 million.
