Grape growers from every major producer country convened at the Fresh Produce Centre in Paddock Wood, Kent last week at an event to preview 18 new grape varieties arranged by Mack Multiples. John Giumarra from California-based Giumarra Vineyards Corporation joined forces with Rafi Karniel of Grapa Company to present some of the results of their extensive grape-breeding programme. This event coincided with the arrival of commercial volumes of California-grown ARRA15 at Mack in the UK.
