Regional produce brand Select Lincolnshire’s Annual Seminar Showcase is set to return on February 7, providing an opportunity for the county’s companies to learn about the brand and even sign up to the project.

The generic brand, which can be used by Lincolnshire’s horticultural, agricultural, food producing and food chain-related businesses, has a distinct identity and showcases the range and quality of Lincolnshire produce.

Companies attending the seminar, to be held at Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa, will learn how they can maximise the brand’s potential and will discover Select’s new marketing strategy for 2008.

Speakers include Mark Tinsley, chairman of the Lincolnshire Forum for Agriculture and Horticulture, members of the Select Lincolnshire team and representatives from key county grocery distributors and high-profile food producers.

Jill McCarthy, who manages the Select Lincolnshire project, said: “Whether you are already involved in the success of Select Lincolnshire or would like to learn more about the brand and how it can benefit your business, this is an unmissable event.”

The event will open at 1.30pm, with keynote speakers commencing at 2pm. More details can be found from Helen Scott on 01522 550593, or on helen.scott@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
