Chef Rachel Green at last year's Royal Show

Select Lincolnshire and Tastes of Lincolnshire will once again be present at the Royal Agricultural Show, in July, at the Love Food, Love Lincolnshire pavilion.

From July 3 to 6, the promotional groups will be at Stoneleigh Park, on the outskirts of Coventry, showing the industry, and the public, what the county is made of, making this their third year running at the show.

The Love Food, Love Lincolnshire pavilion is prominently situated at the show, close to the Grand Ring, and will feature cookery demonstrations from celebrity chef and local food champion, Rachel Green. It will be packed full produce and decorations, which have been award-winning in previous years, as well as a delicatessen and café.

Lydia Rusling of Tastes of Lincolnshire said: “It’s a chance for us to get out of the county and tell everyone what a great place Lincolnshire is. From the food and attractions to award winning accommodation and rich heritage Lincolnshire is a good all round visitor destination for all ages. It’s a county of such variation with the fun coast, vibrant city and gentle rolling hills of the Wolds, all punctuated with pretty towns and quintessentially English villages.”

Select Lincolnshire will again be highlighting the brand that showcases the range and quality of Lincolnshire produce. Jill McCarthy, manager of the initiative, said: “The Royal Show provided an invaluable opportunity to not only raise the profile of the Select Lincolnshire brand outside the county, but also to meet with key contacts across the agriculture, horticulture, food related industries and major multiples.”
