A new bag sealer that chronologically updates best before dates itself, creates trace-ability codes and can up write up to four lines of self-updating text has hit the market.
The manually operated table top tape sealer has been released by Select Bag Sealers in Leeds and incorporates a thermal electronic printer.
This allows complex print formats to be applied to the seal as it performs a tape seal around the neck of the bag.
The TS3-EP replaces the earlier TS2 model, which used a mechanical hot foil printer.
For the upmost traceability the sealer can also print the time when the seal was applied to the product.
Print Format changeovers can also be completed in just a few seconds rather than minutes due to the thermal coder's abilities.
