Labelling and packaging expert Leading Edge is celebrating double success in the recent Kent Business Awards.
Entering for the first time, the company walked away with the award for Innovation and Growth, plus the title of Kent Company of the Year.
Ian Barwick, joint md, said: ““From seven employees and one press in 1997, to one of the biggest label-based print operations in 2005, Leading Edge has come a long way in the relatively short time we have been trading.
“We are extremely proud of our achievements to date and the recognition from this year’s awards is testament of Leading Edge’s hard work, commitment and unique approach.
“In consumer goods packaging innovation is integral to survival and Leading Edge has excelled in introducing & delivering new solutions. Our vision is to continue this both today in 2005, but also beyond, with a view to doubling our size within the next 5 years.”
