Lauritzen Cool Logistics has announced the appointment of a new managing director following the departure of Mathias Wideroth.
Ole Shack Petersen will take over the reins on November 3 and will be stationed in Stockholm, Sweden. Petersen had previously been based in Santiago, Chile and was responsible for strengthening the firm's position as ocean carrier and logistics provider in the perishable industry in the region. He was also in charge of the coordination of land-based activities, which included port terminals, cold storages and trucking companies.
Meanwhile, Wideroth is moving to Paris to become managing director of Autoliners SAS Paris, the European short sea operator.
