Land-based industries' training agency Lantra, has seen its new theory test for the certificate in pesticides spray application successfully launched. Eight employees from County Crops in Lancashire were the first candidates to sit the test, which reflects an advanced level of learning and practice. The qualification is designed for those who already have considerable practical experience and is a step up from Lantra's certificate of competence. The candidates will now have to succeed in a practical exam before being awarded their certificates.
