New Zealand kiwifruit output is unlikely to suffer significantly next season despite the spread of disease Psa, according to Zespri’s Carol Ward.
Some 71 orchards have been issued with a restricted place notice by plant health authorities and 68 orchards have had the disease confirmed.
Negative test results have come back for 286 orchards and 603 orchard bosses have emailed photos of Psa symptoms.
