Kew Gardens is set to join internationally recognised tourist attractions such as the Taj Mahal, the city of Bath and the Great Wall of China, as a World Heritage site.
The Royal Botanic Gardens, which cover 132 acres in west London, contain more than 40 listed buildings as well as a renowned collection of plants and scientific facilities.
