Kappa Northampton and the KappaGreen team have been awarded the Worldstar Award, 2003, from the World Packaging Organisation for its unique design of an Orchid Postal Pack.
The pack, that won a Gold Starpack Award in the national competition last year, transports live and flowering orchids through the regular postal system without fear of breakage. The customer, Hortic Express, even demonstrated the robustness of the pack on the QVC shopping channel because he was so confident in its performance.
The project was delivered on time and to budget and this innovative design is just one of many that the Kappa Northampton design team develop for their customers to offer tailored solutions to any transit case problem - however unusual.
