Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is hoping to produce a new television show about vegetables, FPJ can reveal.
In an exclusive interview with FPJ, to be published on Friday 7 June, Oliver says: “I think that embracing the wonderful world of vegetables and all the amazing dishes you can create with them is an idea that has been floating around for a while and will definitely be something I look into.”
In the interview Oliver also speaks about the progress of the school food intiative and how the fresh produce industry could do more to boost healthy eating levels.
'One thing that I think the fresh produce industry could do is look more closely at what its workforce is eating. If your staff are looked after, then they’re bound to be better motivated and that’s good for them and good for business,' says Oliver.
