Thanet Earth’s It’sFresh! tomatoes are rolling out in Tesco stores from 13 May.
Tesco is the first UK retailer to use ethylene-remover It’sFresh! on tomatoes, and produce under the retailer’s Finest label is the first to benefit, with other segments of the category to follow.
The launch follows successful trials on UK Sunstream tomatoes grown at Thanet Earth, and a pilot project with Tesco.
