The Israeli horticultural industry is in danger of being affected by the recent resurgence of violence. According to industry sources, since October the influx of 120,000 Palestinian casual workers daily has been cut to almost zero. Soft fruit is among the sectors to be affected by a shortage of labour to pick the crop.
